Optimal storage temperature is around 72° 
May be refrigerated
Apply a peas size amount to a *DRY* brush.  Then wet your brush.  The coconut oil does take 10 to 15 seconds to melt.  Then brush for 2 minutes.  After brushing swish for the length of your choice for oil pulling.
Be aware that coconut oil is solid at room temperature.  Spitting this down your sink may cause issues with your plumbing.  We rinse with hot water for a couple of minutes and have never had a problem.
